Bra Pattern Jessica’s Twin is designed to give a lovely roundness and built to be a functional bra we are all looking for! And, just like our other Bra patterns, the Jessica’s Twin bra has a well-formed rounded cup, with a narrow band to prevent the elastic from rolling. Jessica’s Twin cups are designed with one vertical seam instead of three. Jessica’s Twin is what a twin usually is – the same but different. The biggest difference is that Jessica´s Twin also comes as a PDF pattern and has sister sizes. This pattern comes with instructions in English and Swedish, and with about 20 sizes per pattern pack. Jessica’s Twin is also sold as PDF-pattern. The file below explains how to select the correct pattern pack for your measurements All measurements are in centimeters (1 inch = 2.54 cm. Good to keep in mind is that these patterns are not drawn after normal pattern construction.
Bra Pattern, Classic Full Bra is a beautifully fitting bra from the Pin-up Girls pattern series from Bra Makers Supply. This classic full band bra can be made with or without underwires and has great lift and support. It has been specially designed to use with Duoplex, and other low-stretch fabrics; which give the best support and a flattering profile.
Students will need to purchase the patterns themselves and have them in time for the 1st class. They have a choice of 2 patterns: Pin Up Girls Classic Bra pattern (available at Gigi’s Bra Supply online). This pattern is a hard copy that needs to be shipped within the US, so order ASAP. They can also use the B, Wear Pattern called Jessica’s Twin at Brabuilders or downloaded from the B.Wear site as a pdf. For larger sizes, the Pin Up Girls pattern offers a full range of sizes.
This is a 2 day/part class. This class is for those wanting to learn to make their own bra – bra can be made with or without underwires.
Dates: Class 1 – Wednesday, May 28th 10am-1pm – first class will involve measuring to figure out your size according to the Pin Up Girls Classic Bra Pattern, you will also learn about the fabrics and other notions used in bra making / the end of class everyone will trace their pattern according to their measured size. Pattern must be bought prior to first class – available online from Gigi’s Bra Supply – US retailer. No sewing machine needed at this first class
Class 2- Tuesday, June 3rd 10am-4pm – the second class you will bring your sewing machine, pattern and cut out pattern pieces plus all supplies listed on class information handout (available once you sign up). Fabric will be cut and the class will go through all the steps to make your first bra. Your sewing machine will need to be able to do a straight stitch, zigzag stitch and a 3 step zigzag stitch to complete the bra. Please make sure your machine is in good working order prior to class. Please bring a lunch to this second class as we will take a break to eat halfway through the class.

Cost is $115.00 includes fabric and elastics, plus rings, slides and closure. Each person must purchase their own pattern before the first class. Cost is $85.00 if you buy your own materials. You will still need to purchase your own pattern prior to first class
Class is limited to 5 participants and minimum of 3 to make.
