Kid’s Summer Camp

Kids can combine their creativity with learning how to sew (or expanding their knowledge) at this fun summer camp. Projects include a corner bookmark, pillow, drawstring bag with appliqué, chicken pincushion and square fabric bin. The students will learn how to sew with a sewing machine and by hand, how to finish a seam to keep it from unraveling and how to do appliqué. All fabric is included, along with the supplies to make each item (ribbon, stuffing, thread, felt, pins, fusible fleece, stabilizer, interfacing and a seam gauge.

Cost to Attend: Camp $335.00 + tax – With the Joy sewing machine (offered at a discounted price) $535.00 + tax.
Payment is required when signing up for camp, either call (972-527-7400) and pay by credit card or stop by the store and pay in person.

Supplies (bring to class): Sewing machine and accessories that came with it, including the manual, fabric scissors, and seam ripper.

Supply list and permission slip will be sent out via email. Please print the permission slip, sign it and bring it to the first day of camp.
