Join us and learn how to master your serger machine and create beautiful projects all year long! You will need a serger that can do a 4 thread, 3 thread and a rolled hem. We will also use the wave stitch but if you don’t have a serger with that feature we will have one set up in the store. You will need to know how to thread your serger for a basic overlock and be at least familiar with the tensions and various knobs or levers that adjust things.
Class fee includes a kit that will have the fabrics required for the class and projects. The kit also includes 2 spools of Decora decorative thread.
Required for Class:
- Serger with foot control, serger book and quick reference card
- Accessories that come with your serger
- Tweezers
- Small sciissors to clip thread
- 4-spools of serger thread – white or off white (You may also want to bring in 4 different colors of serger thread to use to see the stitches as formed – this is optional.)
Please make sure your serger is in good working order prior to class.
